Ideal for the standard 91/30. A bit of a snug fit with a Limbsaver pad installed, but it’ll work easily. The accessory pocket will easily hold 100 rounds, but I have my doubts about the velcro lasting for years. The good thing is, it seems like an easy fix down the road if one has skills in sewing canvas. The bayonet will tuck away nicely in the bottom of the case, but I’m thinking of looking into an add-on external sleeve for it to keep it from scratching up the stock, receiver, or barrel.
All in all, it is a lovely case, fits with the spirit of the Mosin (“Canvas is good, da?”), and it went for around &75 at Academy.
Convenient for Santa.
